InterDynamics flap discs
For working on steel and/or preparing it for welding, flap discs are the ideal choice. A flap disc is made from 100% zirconium, providing effective and aggressive material removal without damaging the base material.
InterDynamics flap discs are not only highly suitable for grinding, finishing and smoothing. They also effortlessly remove rust and weld seams from various types of steel, including stainless steel, structural steel and cast iron. The self-sharpening zirconia alumina grains on these discs remain resistant to high temperatures. This allows InterDynamics flap discs to perform optimally, even under extreme pressure.
The grit size of the abrasive surface has a direct impact on the performance of the flap disc and the final result. Therefore, always make sure to use the correct grit size. InterDynamics flap discs are available in grit sizes 40, 60, 80 and 120.
